Music Theory – Grade Two
$37.00
Description
The third book in the “MUSIC THEORY” series explores notes and rests of small duration, as well as triplets and compound duple time signatures. Students are also shown how to transcribe melodies from one clef to another. Chords and major keys are further explored, and minor scale formation and key signatures are also introduced. Intervals (by quantity) are explained as well as different accent and pause signs, and additional Italian terms are covered. Each chapter features clear ‘teach-yourself’ information, examples and questions for students to complete independently. Two sample exams are included (in the same format as used by the Australian Guild of Music) as well as blank manuscript paper. Students should be able to confidently sit the Australian Guild of Music Grade Two Theory Examination after completing this book.
